We're looking at Downloads for sportsbook apps to understand their continued growth as more states trickle into their total addressable market. We're only taking the second half of each year because we specifically want to understand interest around the NFL season. While almost all top sportsbook apps grew, that growth was not as monstrous as that of the previous year. This could be due to inflation and economic uncertainty or it could be that there are less people wanting to place bets than the industry is hoping for. This is most definitely a result of the fast increasing interest rates (almost 7% now) while listing prices have yet to fall significantly.
The top 10 quick-service restaurant apps in the U.S. were downloaded 11.6 million times in December, 1.4 percent more than those the month prior. Year-over-year in the month of December, downloads of the top 36 quick-service restaurant apps are up 6.6 percent.
