Kroger will be acquiring Albertsons, a rival grocery store chain, for $24.6 billion. Performance data for Albertsons' suite of mobile apps has been largely stagnant over the past three years.

Kirkbi A/S has acquired BrainPOP, an online learning company, for $875 million. BrainPOP's suite of mobile apps has been installed 1.8 million times in the past 365 days.
Each month's data point in this chart is showing its percentage change from January 2021's data point, so we have January 2021 listed as zero. Even though installs have been stagnating, active users of the top 45 dating apps have been climbing increasingly higher in 2022. I think of this trend as I think of the trends we've seen in Travel, in that people are feeling safer to meet up in person and there is some pent-up desire here to get out and date.
A few weeks ago we brought you an initial look at Pinduoduo's launch of Temu in the US. The app now sits at 1.04 million installs since launch. Daily iOS downloads have overtaken those of Android thanks to paid search. Apptopia Search Intelligence has identified 156 iOS keywords the publisher is advertising on, compared with just 8 on Google Play.
