A consortium has acquired a majority stake in Starzplay Arabia, a subscription streaming app. The app has been downloaded 11.4 million times since launch in 2015.

Netflix has acquired Boss Fight Entertainment, a games publisher. This is the company's third games studio acquisition. On mobile, Boss Fight games have been installed about 22 million times.
Starlink is getting great publicity by keeping Ukrainians connected to the internet in the event that normal telecommunication systems are interrupted, due to war in the country. Ukraine has received Starlink kits which connect directly to SpaceX’s network in orbit. People can then download the Starlink app to identify the kit location that will ensure the best internet connectivity for them. 215,000 Ukrainians have downloaded the app.
Top gym apps like Planet Fitness and LA Fitness are continuing to see year-over-year growth, showing the comfort level people have with going back to the gym. The use cases of these apps vary but they're mainly used for managing membership, checking in at the desk, and reserving a spot in a class.
According to Apptopia data, car rental apps daily active users hit their all-time high the first week of March – and are growing week-over-week since then. Turo leads the activity – and mobile leads its rental interaction (i.e., there are no physical Turo locations with staff).
