I don't care about your Wordle score but lots of other people do
You've probably heard of Wordle by now because you either play or have been ambushed daily by your friends/family showing off their scores on social media. The posts with the yellow, green and black colored boxes are what I'm talking about. I've never played and I don't really care how you did on your word game today, but hey, thanks for sharing. Wordle (the version you're thinking of) was not initially a mobile app (played on a website) but several developers have published apps under the name before and after the version of the "real" Wordle was released. Comparing the last 15 days in December to the most recent 15 days in February, average daily downloads of word games have increased 11.8%. Mobile game publishers are opportunists and now is the time to push your word game to new users and maybe get some revenue lift to boost those YoY numbers.
Booking.Yeah
Booking.com should be pretty pleased with this year's VDay turnout on its OpenTable app. Lovebirds in the U.S. leveraged the app to secure a spot for dinner on Valentine's Day and the days leading up to it. Not only did it do well compared to everyone's favorite year, 2020, but just generally knocked it out of the park when looking at its performance historically.

Financial products and subscription streaming video apps made up a large portion of the Super Bowl ads. By my (mostly undistracted) count, there were 26 commercials in total involving companies whose mobile apps act as a significant channel for engagement.
On Valentine’s Day, love is in the air but does it drive people to install dating apps?
