eMeals has acquired RecipeBox, an app used to save and organize your online and offline recipes. Since launch in November 2018, the app has been installed about 303k times.
Today we're comparing the launch of CNN+ to ESPN+ because both launched within existing mobile apps and both are a forms of news and entertainment. This week Axios reported there will be budget cuts for CNN+ already, which was followed up by CNBC's scoop that the subscription has less than 10k daily users. Looking at the first 10 days of launch for both CNN+ (debuted 3/29/22) and ESPN+ (debuted 4/12/18), we see a similar trend but a higher and more prolonged surge for the ESPN app.
